Dear Colleagues, It is a great privilege and honour for me to invite you to come and join us in Dublin for the 13th Annual Congress of the European Urogynaecological Association (EUGA) from 22-24th October 2020. Each year EUGA goes from strength to strength with ever-increasing membership numbers and attendees at our annual meeting. Each year the conference Chair has the unenviable task of trying to keep up with the previous meeting and 2020 is no exception after the wonderful experience of Tel Aviv hosted by Shimon. However, the year 2020 will be remembered by all of us as a time of enormous difficulty both personally and professionally. We have been faced with many challenges in how we interact socially and with our patients. We have found new ways of communicating across the world with reliance on modern technologies to attend “virtual conferences” and we will never take for granted the importance of the networking and socialising aspects of a “face-to-face” meeting. Throughout this difficult time, however, the EUGA executive has persevered in our endeavour to host one of the only “traditional” urogynaecological meetings of 2020. The committees of EUGA have created an outstanding scientific program of state-of-the-art lectures, symposia, workshops and abstract sessions to keep our membership up-to-date and, of course, provided us with a wonderful social program. It is an opportunity for our members, guests and industry colleagues to come together again and no better place to do this than in Dublin – the social capital of the world with its tourist attractions, diversity, quality of cuisine and of course “the craic”! It is my hope that you will get a chance to explore Dublin and its surroundings, and enjoy the vibrant atmosphere of our city. As the EUGA 2020 Chair I am looking forward to welcoming you all to our “back to normal” conference
